About Us |

The MontaukWeb partnership officially came into being in the Spring of 2001. We began by focussing on website design and an educational program helping those in the area who were new to computing. As our initially small circle of clients began to grow we gradually came more & more into contact with the local artists' community. Our work with professional photographers helped to expand our efforts in digital imaging which grew further as we began photographing clients' work for inclusion on their websites - which we were designing. With the help of an investment in new equipment the pace of work grew rapidly - and so did our business. MontaukWeb, based in Montauk, New York, on the East End of Long Island, comprises an Art Department - supplying the necessary 'eye' for our work in graphics, digital imaging and publicity materials. Our Technology division oversees our own equipment, website design, and advises clients on the purchase and installation of new hardware and software, and manages our educational program. While new projects of our own assume a greater role in our work, we have brought on board a New York City based business and marketing consultant whose role will be crucial in the launch of these projects (see our Developments page) - and also, from time to time, provides advice to our clients. |
